The 200^th anniversary of the death of author Heinrich von Kleist (1777-1811) falls on 21^st November 2011. It provides an incentive to create this platform as a first address for all those with an interest in Kleist. In future, the web presentations of the Heinrich von Kleist Society and the Kleist Museum will be brought together here under a single umbrella.

First of all, the pages offer a preliminary survey of our plans. Make a note to follow our progress, as an online calendar, for example, will be emerging here in the coming weeks and months. As far as possible, it will collect together all the upcoming events related to Heinrich von Kleist. In this way it will be easy to stay up-to-date on current stage productions, readings, exhibitions and other events concerning Kleist.
