Kleistfestival at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin

The Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin has shown a special commitment to the performance of Kleist’s works for several years. For the Kleist Year 2011, the theatre plans a festival of several weeks dedicated to the creative work, life and times of Heinrich von Kleist. The focus will be on the author’s complete dramatic work, including the fragment “Robert Guiskard”, as well as new productions for the festival and a comprehensive programme of events in public space, lectures, film screenings, readings and workshops.
