Kleist 360°/ Outreach
With the project Kleist 360°/ Outreach we aim at diversifying the access to Heinrich von Kleist's literary and cultural heritage. To this end, we are seeking an exchange with various actors, associations and institutions in the dual city of Frankfurt (Oder) – Słubice and the region.
Together we will explore new forms and ways of dealing with language and literature in depth. To that end, we focus on the cultural and linguistic diversity of the people in our society, whose participation in culture we want to strengthen both inside and outside the museum.
With the programme "360° - Fund for Cultures of the New Urban Society", the German Federal Cultural Foundation enables cultural institutions to deal more intensively with migration and cultural diversity and in creating new access and visibility for groups in society that have not been adequately reached so far. To this end, the model programme, in which 39 cultural institutions nationwide participate promotes a variety of approaches aimed at opening up to diversity in the areas of programme, audience and staff.

Strange Things! International Museum Day on 16 May!
For the International Museum Day, we are presenting our "strange things" on our website for the first time. Under "Kleist-Museum digital!" you will find interesting, exciting or even curious objects from all over the house- our collection, the exhibitions and the library, which we have been presenting on instagram since January. We will continue to post a new "strange thing" there on the last Wednesday of each month - and will put it on our website shortly afterwards.
Have fun exploring the presentation series & see you soon "analogue" again at the Kleist-Museum!
